A trumpet player born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland, Jack, 23 is an emerging force in the local music scene. From high-energy funk performances to intimate chamber settings, Jack is an active performer who can be found playing throughout the DMV area.
Early in his career, Jack has traveled across the country and studied with some of the world's leading trumpet players, including Phil Smith, Melvin Jones, Nadje Nordhuis, and Nathan Warner. His musical influences range from jazz legends including Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, Clark Terry, Blue Mitchell to contemporary artists like Benny Benack III, Roy Hargrove, Terence Blanchard, and Jon Lampley.
Jack graduated in Spring 24' as a Linehan Artist Scholar, earning a B.A. in Jazz Studies from UMBC.
